Keshav Smruti Pratishthan has a novel concept of education. For Keshav Smruti Pratishthan School does not mean a slate, a note book & books. It has a concept which is nearer to ‘Gurukul’ system of past India. It does not want pupils with strong memory but wants pupils to be citizens with strong determination & strong physique. It wants to implement education with culture in a scientific way and with this broad objective Vivekanand Pratishthan has been founded in the year 1987.

Later our Vivekanand Pratishthan taking into consideration the social & cultural background of the Jalgaon district population initiated varied branches of different levels with different media of instructions to achieve the determined objectives. The details of these branches and objectives we are going to focus now.
The Pratishthan today owns a 10-acre land nearly 7 kms. away from the city where a huge
two-storeyed building stands. Stds. V to X classes are conducted there and nearly 1000 students are
learning there. Nearly 50 students come from the surrounding villages and 700 from the city. We
have 8 buses for transporting the students from the city. This year we have the hostel facility where
200 students live.

In the city pre-primary classes are run in the morning and primary classes from std. I to IV at
noon. The school-building here is not in a traditional from but with quite a different but attractive
architectural design nowhere to be found in India. The gardens and greenery adds to the beauty of
the landscape.

There are in all 2200 students learning in all sections of the Institution with a staff of 150 teachers
including the non-teachings.

India is a developing country but the place of Maharashtra in its scenario plays an important role and naturally always stand first in many activities and new programmes. There are many districts n Maharashtra namely Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune, Aurangabad and next comes our Jalgaon district, famous for Banaras, is quite near about 60 kms to international famous caves of Ajanta and Ellora. It is a district having large village population and the city itself is nice one in its town planning. Jalgaon city is famous for Jain Irrigation, Kogta Pulses Industry and has North Maharashtra University with diversified courses.
